Porcelain Dolls

A rules-lite cooperative dice RPG for 2 - 5 players.

Porcelain Dolls is a dice RPG that is a little sad, a little cynical, and just a bit CRACKED, but always offers players a chance to become better for their struggles. There is always hope. 

Inspired by the art of kintsugi, Porcelain Dolls revolves around themes of managing stress, working through trauma together, and embracing all of life's imperfections.  It's ideal for scenarios of horror, crime, war and other bleak and stressful situations.

Player characters enter into CONFLICTS which are resolved with a single d20. Using their CHARMS and managing their FLAWS is key to success. Failure inflicts STRESS and each point of stress pushes the characters to do better, but too much stress will cause the doll to CRACK and too many cracks will cause them to become BROKEN.

There is no death in Porcelain Dolls. Only the opportunity to become better.

Broken characters slowly repair themselves, getting by with help from allies and in the end turning their CRACKS into CHARMS.

FLAWLESS EDITION

The flawless edition is a simple black text on white background version of the rules, for those without care or need for culture. It is free to download and includes all of the core rules for DOLLS and MASTERS alike.
