Cursed Spades

A competitive card game for 2-3 living players and one force of mortal dread. All you need is a table and a standard 52 deck of cards.

Players compete to be the last suit standing in a game of deception, tactics, and superior numbers. However the casualties of war return as dreadful wraiths under the Cursed Spades banner.

10-30 minutes in length, depending on how persistent the players are.

What happens if I kill a Spades card?

You've wasted a turn and prolonged the inevitable.

Who wins in a match where both sides play a J and an A?

Since the Ace trumps the Jack in both cases, both players may kill the Jack. If this is the case, the Spades win since they were just gifted three jacks to use.

Why are the first two players Hearts and Diamonds?

War is fought by Hearts over Diamonds using Clubs, but it is the Spades who will profit. 

What is the Spades' Curse?

To bear the eternal burden of educating the foolish.
